“I was recommended Amanda from Ikare after having a terrible experience with my first Support Coordinator and to this day feel so grateful and blessed to have her walk beside me through the most trying times dealing with the NDIA. I first met Amanda in 2020. At the time living in a nursing home. Being under 60 I was suffering the worst depression not being able to have visitors or leave the facility for months at a time due to Covid and was unable to see any light at the end of the tunnel Amanda stood by me through the next 6mths battling with the NDIA to get me out of the nursing home She went above and beyond to ensure I got to achieve this and I am now in temporary accommodation overlooking the Broadwater while waiting to move into my new unit just a street back from the beautiful Palm Beach on the Gold Coast. It has been a long hard journey to get me to where I am now but Amanda promised me when I first met her she would make my dream of living independently out of the nursing home come true and she fought every step of the way to make that dream happen. It's also not just what Amanda has been able to achieve for me but the way she has done it with so much genuine empathy compassion and determination that she did it with. Amanda has literally been a shining light of positivity pulling me out of some of the darkest moments of my life. I could go on and on singing Amanda's praises there truly isn't enough words to express how grateful and blessed I feel to have Amanda as my Support co ordinator walking by me into a new and better chapter of my life that she fought hard to help me create. If you or someone you know is in need of the most amazing Support Co Ordinator then Amanda is the one for you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Amanda for everything you have done and continue to do for me to make my life so much happier and brighter. You are one in a million a true miracle maker."
